Location: US Remote Reports To: Director of Estimation and Business Development Salary Range: $125,000-$156,000 Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Estimating, the CPQ Manager connects Sales, Estimating, Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Software. The role owns business requirements, release priorities, acceptance criteria, and adoption, not software architecture or code delivery. Success is measured by simpler sales experience, a more reliable quote to order process, and a scalable Configure to Order platform. Key Responsibilities: CPQ Strategy and Roadmap Own and maintain the CPQ business roadmap, translating market needs, sales feedback, product strategy, and operating priorities into clear, sequenced work. Establish business cases, value hypotheses, acceptance criteria, and release priorities for front end quoting and back-end configuration, pricing, and order handoff capabilities. Partner with Software to refine requirements, resolve tradeoffs, manage dependencies, and communicate release scope and readiness to stakeholders. Define and track practical performance measures such as quote cycle time, configuration accuracy, rework, adoption, margin protection, and user effort. Establish training plans for release launches when necessary.
