What you'll be doing Build recommendation models for video recommendations. Duties include building APIs to serving recommendations model online; researching and leveraging LLM on recommendations; and researching and leveraging computer vision models for image classification and video understanding. Experiment and implement semi-automatic annotation techniques which involve minimal human supervision, for Natural Language Understanding (NLU) models, to help speed up the annotation process without sacrificing quality. Re-train existing ML and DL models, and evaluate performance on the semi-automatically annotated data. Provide current data annotation processes and propose ideas to improve the pipeline for NLU capabilities of the Roku Voice system. Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to launch research ideas into a Roku product release. Document work via internal wikis, design documents, record demos and slide presentations.
