Job Title: Lead Engineer – Java, Spring Boot & Microservices
Experience: 10+ Years
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Design and implement microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs. Drive technical architecture, HLD, LLD and system design discussions. Develop secure APIs and implement authentication, authorization and access control mechanisms. Design and implement multithreaded applications using Java concurrency APIs. Develop distributed systems and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka. Implement fault tolerance, resiliency, exception handling and distributed transaction patterns. Perform application performance optimization, JVM tuning, memory management and database query optimization. Design and implement cloud-native applications with high availability and scalability. Deploy, manage and troubleshoot applications in cloud environments. Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Lead code reviews, technical discussions and mentor development teams. Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and drive root cause analysis. Collaborate with architecture, QA, DevOps and business teams to ensure successful delivery. Support production deployments, Go-Live and post-production stabilization.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java backend development. Strong expertise in Core Java and Java 8/11/17 features. Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Security. Strong experience in microservices architecture and REST API development. Excellent knowledge of API security, OAuth 2.0, JWT and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
