Position Overview: As a Firmware Test Engineer , you will be responsible for developing comprehensive test strategies, complex test setups, and automated validation frameworks for Echo’s medical devices. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of embedded systems by creating high-quality test infrastructures and collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the full product development life cycle. Key Responsibilities: Understand product requirements, design inputs, and system architectural needs, and translate them into firmware test needs Design and develop unit tests, integration tests, and system-level tests for a cutting-edge medical device Architect and execute verification and validation (V&V) processes Develop automated test scripts in Python for firmware and hardware validation Collaborate with electrical, hardware, and software engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage Create documents describing test architectures and methodologies Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field Deep understanding of medical device development processes, including V&V, design controls, risk management, and regulatory complian…
