We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to be a part of the development team that works on building and maintaining integrations between our systems and third party APIs. This team builds integrations with various providers ranging from email, to mobile and push and ensures that content is set up and delivered correctly for each of the various providers that we support. We are looking for someone to help us scale and meet future demand. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who thrives at the intersection of big-picture architecture and heads-down implementation. You’ll help shape the technical direction for a critical platform capability while also staying close to the details: designing systems, writing code, reviewing implementation, working with other developers, and unblocking the team on complex technical problems. You’ll work on challenging 3rd party integration problems involving high impact coordination with 3rd party vendors, managing partner instabilities, dealing with rate limits and creating reliable, observable, and stable services. The systems you help build will be used to support almost every message sent out of our systems. You will report to an Engineering manager in this role.
