Spring 2027 Internship: This position is located at our Frisco, TX location. Expected program dates are January 19 – April 23, 2027. Anticipated working hours will be 15-30 per week. Final hours and schedule will be determined between the intern and their manager. Introduction: We are looking for a motivated, self-driven intern who is excited to build real software with the help of AI to join our engineering team supporting major retail customers. Our team is helping these customers move from legacy store systems to a modern technology platform across several projects. The work includes upgrading the back-office web applications store teams use to run day-to-day operations, building new web interfaces for store services, and developing new in-store and mobile applications, from associate-facing tools to customer-facing experiences. AI will be at the center of this role, both in the features you build and in how you build them. This is an ideal opportunity for a student who likes to take ownership, figure things out independently, and see their work used at scale in the real world. What You’ll Work On: Contribute to one of our new Spring 2027 retail projects, such as a new in-store application for store associates or a customer-facing mobile experience. Develop and prototype AI-powered features for new and existing retail applications, such as natural-language search, smart form validation, intelligent data entry, and automated data extraction. Use AI coding assistants such as Claude or Codex as a core part of your daily workflow to write, refactor, debug, and document code, and to ramp up quickly on unfamiliar codebases and technologies.
