Role Description:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer responsible for the development and design of web applications and components across both front-end (GUI) and backend. You will design, code, test, and implement websites and applications for internal or external use, and troubleshoot issues around performance, response times, capacity, and system limitations. You’ll collaborate with internal business partners, internal technology resources (database, system, networking), and external vendors, and ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, and implement large-scale web applications and components across the full stack (front-end GUI and backend). Troubleshoot and resolve issues around performance, response times, capacity, and system limitations. Collaborate with internal business partners, internal technology resources, and external vendors; maintain applications and ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency. Create and maintain documentation for the applications you build.
Preferred Qualifications:
Testing, CI, and DevOps - working knowledge of integrated testing frameworks (RSpec, MiniTest), CI suites (CircleCI, Jenkins), and DevOps and AWS infrastructure.
