Ardent is seeking a Data Scientist to join our team. This is a remote position. Position Description: Ardent is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support data-driven initiatives within a federal environment. This role will focus on applying advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and data science techniques to complex business and operational challenges. Responsibilities and Duties: Provide subject matter expertise supporting data science, analytics, and machine learning initiatives. Support analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Provide recommendations regarding analytical methods, statistical models, and data-driven solutions. Support data preparation, transformation, modeling, and visualization activities. Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to define analytical requirements and support program objectives. Support development of dashboards, reports, technical documentation, and analytical deliverables. Provide guidance on data quality, analytical methodologies, and data science best practices. Contribute to modernization and continuous improvement efforts involving data, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology, data analytics, data science, or related technical environments. Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting enterprise-scale data, analytics, or technology initiatives. Demonstrated experience performing statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, or other advanced analytical work. Experience working with large, complex, and/or disparate datasets.
