Job Summary We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong Python skills and hands-on experience in UI automation (Playwright, Selenium) to design, build, and maintain automated test suites. You'll work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases through a mix of automated and manual testing practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test scripts using Playwright and/or Selenium with Python Build and maintain a scalable test automation framework (Page Object Model or similar design patterns) Perform API testing (using Postman, requests library, or REST Assured) to validate backend functionality Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) Identify, log, and track defects through resolution using tools like JIRA Analyze test results, debug failures, and maintain test stability (handling flaky tests, waits, synchronization issues) Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategy/coverage Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) Maintain test documentation — test plans, test cases, and automation coverage reports Contribute to code reviews of test scripts and automation framework improvements Required Skills & Qualifications 3–5 years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation Proficient in Python for test scripting Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies (manual + automated) Experience with test management/bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr) Familiarity with version cont…Sign in to see the original postingBrowse more developer jobs on RoleBurst
