Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Materials and Structural Analysis Semiconductor R&D organization brings together around 400 engineers developing electron microscopy solutions and applications. Our global teams in Eindhoven, Brno, Hillsboro, Hyderabad, and Bordeaux combine expertise in hardware, software, and scientific applications to help customers make the world cleaner, healthier, and safer.
Within this organization, the Cortex value stream develops software for semiconductor data workflows, including tools to organize, explore, and visualize microscopy data. We’re looking for a Frontend Technical Lead to shape Cortex’s frontend architecture and guide a focused team delivering a consistent, scalable experience across our Core and Contributor applications.
How will you make an impact? --------------------------------
You’ll provide hands-on technical leadership for Cortex’s frontend, setting direction for its architecture, shared UI, and user experience. Working with product owners, designers, scientists, architects, and engineering teams across multiple sites, you’ll turn complex workflows and data into reliable, intuitive applications.
You’ll help establish frontend standards, guide design and code reviews, and support engineers across teams—including contributors working with technologies other than Angular. You’ll partner closely with backend technical leads on APIs and integration, while keeping frontend quality, performance, and usability central to delivery.
