As a Senior Analyst on the Risk Analytics team within the Consumer & Business group, you'll own the identification and mitigation of account takeover (ATO) and scam risk across the Coinbase ecosystem. You'll build critical defenses that protect our users and platform integrity, using data to drive risk decisions that impact millions of customers. This is a high-impact role where you'll define risk metrics, shape prevention strategies, and partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to stay ahead of evolving threats. What you'll do: Own end-to-end risk controls for ATO and scam prevention, scaling processes to maintain coverage as the business expands into new products and regions. Define risk success metrics, build reporting frameworks, and drive continuous improvement by identifying and prioritizing control enhancements. Leverage data to assess risk and make decisions impacting large customer segments, measuring and quantifying associated tradeoffs through rigorous analysis. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to develop custom risk management strategies and techniques across the Coinbase product suite. Synthesize data findings into clear narratives and recommendations that influence senior risk and product leadership decisions.
