Job Summary We're looking for a detail-oriented ECAD Librarian to own and grow our Altium component library, ensuring every schematic symbol, PCB footprint, and 3D model is accurate, standardized, and manufacturable. In this role, you will partner closely with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to keep the library current, enforce design and naming standards, and make sure components meet IPC and DFM best practices before they ever reach a board. You will be the single source of truth for component data across our design organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Library Ownership: Create, validate, and maintain schematic symbols, PCB footprints, pad stacks, and 3D models in Altium. Ensure every component is built to supplier datasheet and manufacturer DFM standards with correct parameters, metadata, and revision history. Standards & Compliance: Apply IPC-7351 land pattern standards, JEDEC package standards, and internal design rules to all new and revised components. Confirm footprints and land patterns support design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) requirements before release.
