Job Overview
Join our software team as a Junior Python Developer and build your skills while contributing to practical application development. You’ll help develop and maintain backend systems, APIs, and web services, collaborating with teammates to deliver reliable software. This role is suited to someone with foundational Python and software engineering knowledge who is ready to learn through hands-on work.
Duties
Develop, test, debug, and maintain Python applications and backend systems. Build and support REST (Representational State Transfer) APIs, database integrations, and web services. Contribute to application design, software design, and system design, with attention to scalability and distributed systems. Participate in Agile software development, code reviews, version control, and the software development life cycle (SDLC). Write unit tests and help improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows.

Experience
Required: Foundational Python programming, object-oriented programming (OOP), debugging, and unit testing skills. Required: Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server; exposure to MongoDB is a plus. Preferred: Experience with Git or GitHub, Linux, Bash or shell scripting, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or front-end development. Preferred: Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure, microservices, distributed computing, or Agile and Scrum practices. Familiarity with other listed technologies—including Java,.NET, ASP.NET Core, C, React, Angular, Node.js, Entity Framework, SSRS, SSIS, SOAP, WCF, and database tools—is helpful, but not required.
Pay: $93,400.00 - $113,000.00 per year
