Description
Infor is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Payroll to join our HRT Payroll development team in Hyderabad. This role requires a strong software engineering background combined with a good understanding of Payroll functionality and end-to-end Payroll processes.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java, microservices, APIs, API Gateway, and OAuth, along with experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Prior experience developing Payroll/HCM solutions or experience working as a Payroll specialist/domain expert is highly desirable.
The engineer will work on the LPL framework(java based), and collaborate closely with Product Management, Business Analysts, QA, customers, and other engineering teams to design and deliver scalable Payroll capabilities.
We are looking for someone with strong critical thinking, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, along with an interest in AI concepts and modern AI development/productivity tools.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Payroll functionality for the HRT application. Develop scalable solutions using Java, microservices, REST APIs, API Gateway, and OAuth-based authentication/authorization. Work with the LPL framework to develop and enhance product functionality. Apply Payroll domain knowledge when designing and implementing Payroll features and business rules. Work closely with Business Analysts and Product Management to understand complex Payroll requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions. Participate in solution design, technical discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. Collaborate effectively with QA, Product, customers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve complex product issues.
