A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer within our cloud services organization, you will design, implement, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud platforms across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
You will collaborate with internal and external platform teams, IT service owners, application owners, architects, cybersecurity specialists, and cloud providers to build and operate highly available and resilient infrastructure. Your work will support multiple applications and future cloud-service needs across Siemens Energy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and AWS, including compute, networking, storage, load balancing, identity, backup, and recovery services. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code and scripting technologies such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep or CloudFormation, and PowerShell or Python. Build and maintain Git-based CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment, configuration validation, and controlled releases across cloud environments. Ensure reliable cloud operations through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, incident and problem management, capacity and performance management, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Strengthen cloud security and governance through identity and access management, privileged access controls, policy enforcement, vulnerability remediation, logging, and cloud-security best practices. Collaborate with architects, application owners, and global stakeholders while improving automation, documentation, standards, and operational processes.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with substantial hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, administration, or DevOps roles. Strong …trun…
