Job Description:
Design, develop, test, and implement large-scale web applications and full-stack components across front-end GUI and backend. Build and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and Ruby as core technologies. Design and develop APIs and interface technologies, including JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, and XML. Develop front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. Design, develop, and optimize databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and related database technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to performance, response times, capacity, and system limitations. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across applications. Collaborate with business partners, database, system and networking teams, and external vendors. Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications. Integrate GenAI into software development workflows.
Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years of senior software engineering experience. 6+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and Ruby. 6+ years of experience in API design and interface technologies, including JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, and XML. 6+ years of front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, along with database design and queries using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies. Knowledge of integrating GenAI into development workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of testing frameworks such as RSpec and MiniTest, CI tools such as CircleCI and Jenkins, and DevOps and AWS infrastructure.
