Participate in system architecture, service design, and data modeling to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance (15%). Provide guidance on system design and implementation across multiple services (10%). Design and implement APIs (RESTful or gRPC) for internal and external platform services (15%). Develop and optimize systems to support high-throughput, low-latency workloads (10%). Work with cloud-based infrastructure to deploy, monitor, and operate services in production environments (5%). Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes (5%). Analyze and improve system performance, reliability, and fault tolerance in distributed environments (5%). Design, implement, and operate DNS-based services, including DNS record lifecycle management, caching strategies, and traffic routing policies to ensure reliable and performant name resolution at scale (10%). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and operations, to define and deliver technical solutions (3%). Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support ongoing system operations (1%). Document system design, architecture, and operational procedures (1%).
