Perplexity is looking for a Content Designer to shape the words across our products. You'll design the language people see and hear across our family of Perplexity apps, from the first screen of onboarding to the way an agent explains what it's doing. You understand how models behave, how prompts and system instructions shape what people see, and how to define and judge quality when the output isn't fully deterministic. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and write in-product language across web, mobile, desktop, and voice, including UI copy, flows, onboarding, notifications, empty states, errors, and in-product education - Partner with product designers from the start of a project, shaping flows, structure, and information architecture as well as the words in them - Name features and products, and own terminology, navigation labels, and taxonomies so the product stays easy to understand as it grows - Make complex AI and agent behavior understandable, including what the product is doing, why, what it can't do,…
