The Assistant Project Manager (APM) is a Key Personnel role fully dedicated to a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) contract. The APM assists the Project Manager in structuring, planning, and monitoring projects, ensuring alignment with the Contractor’s technical approach and management methodology. The APM will assume full responsibility of the Project Manager role in their absence. Primary Responsibilities Support the Project Manager in project planning, structuring, scheduling, and performance monitoring. Assist in managing project workflows in alignment with CMS requirements. Ensure project execution adheres to the Contractor’s strategy, management plan, and quality processes. Serve as acting Project Manager when required. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain project continuity, compliance, and timeliness.
