Ltd., under the joint supervision of Prof. Alivelu M Parimi, Department of EEE, and Prof. Swati Alok, Department of Economics and Finance, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.Title of the project: “Development and Deployment of an Integrated Technology-Enabled Health Screening Solution for Frontline Health Workers”Objectives: To develop and field-validate a low-power, Bluetooth-enabled, technology-assisted screening and monitoring solution for frontline health workers (ASHA and Anganwadi workers), addressing child malnutrition, anaemia and maternal health, and to assess its feasibility for scale-up through Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, Telangana.Scope of Work / Services: Design, development and testing of low-power, battery-operated BLE sensing devices: a smart MUAC band, BLE weighing-scale interface, non-invasive haemoglobin (Hgb) sensor peripheral and maternal wearable (temperature, heart rate, activity). Work includes sensor interfacing and analog front-end/signal conditioning with high-precision ADC, humidity/temperature compensation and calibration, schematic and PCB design, ultra-low-power firmware with BLE communication, power management, laboratory accuracy testing, and field validation in Anganwadi Centres.Fellowship amount: Rs. 37,000 per month. Location at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus (tenure: 3 years)Eligibility requirement: BE/BTech/ME/ MTech in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer Science or allied disciplines or equivalent with 70% marks or 7 CGPA.
