About the role We’ve been mandated to hire three Senior Software Engineers for a high-growth fintech lending company in Mumbai.
You’ll build and scale the systems behind the company’s lending platform, from loan origination to loan servicing. You’ll own features end to end, from design to production, and work closely with the Tech Lead on architecture. This is a hands-on engineering role on a small, high-ownership team.
What you’ll do
Design, build and ship core lending systems (LOS, LMS and related services) Own features from technical design through to production, and support them once live Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code, and review your teammates’ code Improve the scalability, reliability and performance of high-volume financial systems Work closely with product and business teams to turn lending workflows into software
Mandatory requirements (please don’t apply if you don’t meet all of them)
5–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience Experience building backend systems in production at a product company or fintech Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate, and able to work onsite on all working days
What we’re also looking for
Experience with lending, LOS/LMS, payments or other fintech systems (strong plus) Strong fundamentals in system design, data modelling and APIs Comfort with ambiguity and end-to-end ownership
Who could be a good fit Senior Software Engineers, SDE-II/SDE-III engineers and backend engineers at fintech or product startups. Engineers who have worked on loan, credit or payments systems are an especially strong fit.
