Overview of Opportunity
We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join one of our Stream-Aligned feature teams. In this role, you will own customer-facing product features end-to-end within a single, unified monorepo. We operate on a T-shaped engineering philosophy: we expect you to bring deep expertise in your favorite area of the stack, combined with the technical curiosity and empathy to navigate the other layers. You will work alongside a team of cross-functional full stack developers, taking features from initial concept down through the database schema, API logic, and user interface in a single pull request.
What You Will Do:
Deliver Vertical Product Value: Own the technical design, implementation, and deployment of features end-to-end. You will solve complex problems and write code across the user interface, API endpoints, and database models to ship complete slices of user value, incorporating AI tools to enhance your workflow and support your decision-making. Practice Full-Context Code Reviews: Review your teammates' full-stack pull requests. You will look at the entire feature context rather than just a single layer to ensure overall code readability and maintainability. Incorporate Automated Quality: Write automated unit and integration tests alongside your feature code as part of your standard development loop, ensuring your features are safe and resilient before deployment. Contribute to Shared Frameworks: Identify common patterns in your feature work and work to contribute reusable components or helpers to the shared development platform.
