This is half software, half hardware.Qualifications --------------Hands-on experience with energy management systems (EMS) for battery storage, PV or C&I sites. Ideally you've built or integrated one yourself, whether at work, in your thesis or during an internship. Similar experience counts too (e.g. battery management systems (BMS), SCADA, EV charging, building automation or industrial controls): a lot of that knowledge transfers directly Solid Python and embedded Linux (networking, VPN, remote updates) Industrial protocols: Modbus TCP/RTU, MQTT, REST Electrical basics: inverter, BMS, grid connection point.
