We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager for AI Platform , the team that builds and supports internal AI platforms used across the company. You will lead a cross-functional engineering team, own delivery end to end, and work closely with Product, Data, and AI teams on scope, priorities, and the platform roadmap. This is a hands-on role: beyond people management, you will take an active part in shaping the architecture and making technical decisions within the team. Challenges that await you: Build and lead the team across hiring, planning, task decomposition, process improvements, and cross-team collaboration Own and drive the development of internal AI platforms from concept to production, and keep them reliable as adoption grows Turn recurring needs from product teams into reusable platform capabilities rather than one-off solutions Ensure strong team performance and reliable, on-time delivery aligned with company and business goals Partner closely with Product, Data, and AI teams, and with the internal teams who use the platforms, to understand their needs and drive adoption Make well-reasoned build-vs-adopt decisions, including evaluating, integrating, and extending open-source solutions Shape the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations What makes you a great fit: Experience leading engineering teams, including hiring, people development, performance, and delivery management Proven experience leading teams in AI, ML, or data-driven engineering environments as well as training models on your own Strong technical background with hands-on development experience and the ability to validate technical decisions independently Experience taking AI-powered products or services from concept to production including measuring their impact through A/B tests or other metrics Ability to translate ambiguous business and product requirements into clear technical solutions and priorities Strong cross-team communication sk…
