Location: Long Beach, CA Salary: $115-130k The High Voltage Hardware team is seeking a Mechanical Release Engineer to own the engineering release process and issue tracking for its hardware programs. As the program scales, release administration has become the largest drain on design engineering time. Once a design engineer completes their design, this person picks it up and carries it all the way to a released state, prompting the right approvers, tracking status, and preventing the rework caused by late or incorrect releases. This is a process ownership and coordination role rather than a design role. The right person is organized, persistent, comfortable chasing people across functions, and able to keep hundreds of parts and assemblies across varying pedigrees in a structured system without losing track of any of them.
