At Textmagic, you'll work on a product used by real customers, contribute to technical decisions, and see the direct impact of your work.Role overviewWe're looking for an experienced PHP/Symfony backend engineer to join our team.We're open to both strong mid-level and senior engineers. What matters most to us is your ability to solve problems, take ownership of your work, and communicate well with others.You'll work on a live SaaS product, develop new features, improve existing systems, and help keep our platform fast and reliable.RequirementsWhat you'll work onDevelop and maintain backend features, REST APIs, and third-party integrations. Improve existing PHP/Symfony code to make it easier to maintain and extend. Investigate performance issues and optimize database queries. Build and improve background jobs, message processing, and error handling. Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews. Work closely with other engineers, QA, DevOps, and product managers to deliver reliable solutions.Required technical skillsStrong hands-on experience with PHP and Symfony in production applications. Good understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational databases. Experience developing REST APIs and working with external services. Solid knowledge of OOP, application design, and clean coding practices. Ability to investigate problems, understand existing code, and find practical solutions.
