About the Positions We’re seeking Assistant Project Managers to support large, complex heavy civil infrastructure programs, including highways, roads, bridges, transit (bus and rail), aviation (international airports), and water/wastewater projects delivered through both traditional and alternative delivery methods. These positions carry assigned task orders on transit and transportation capital programs through all phases of the project, holding contractors and design consultants to the cost, schedule, quality, and contract commitments they signed up to, and working alongside the Project Manager accountable for the program as a whole. If you have run a scope component end to end on a transit or transportation program and can defend a position on a change or a delay with the record behind it, this is the seat. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: May lead assigned task orders on behalf of the owner through all phases of the project, from task order scoping and budgeting through design, construction, and closeout, coordinating the contractors and design consultants performing the work.
