ABOUT US AIM builds autonomy for the real world — robots that move mountains. Our systems fuse software, hardware, robotics, and mission-critical infrastructure into ruggedized, safety-critical machinery operating on jobsites across the world. We replace decades of manual, error-prone, high-risk work with intelligent machines that reshape how earthmoving is done. Our autonomous systems must perform reliably across different machines, hardware configurations, and operating environments. Verification is critical to ensuring our embedded software and hardware work together as expected before deployment. We're expanding our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing capabilities to improve test coverage, automate validation, and support new machine platforms. You have experience developing automated tests for embedded systems and understand how to use Hardware-in-the-Loop testing to validate software interacting with real hardware. You're comfortable writing Python automation, working with C++ systems, and troubleshooting issues across software, electronics, and test equipment. When a test fails, you don't simply report the failure — you investigate whether the problem originates in the product, the test software, or the test infrastructure. You're curious, meticulous, and motivated by making testing more repeatable, reliable, and efficient. You take ownership of problems and enjoy turning manual procedures into automated workflows. You thrive in environments where test infrastructure is still evolving and where you'll need to build solutions rather than simply execute predefined test plans.
