Position Title: Senior Electrical Application Engineer Position
Location: Remote – work virtually from anywhere in the United States Travel
Requirements: Up to 25%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states.
Must be able to rent vehicles and have a valid driver’s license.
JOB SUMMARY: This is a senior-level, hands-on application engineering role. You will own electrical application engineering for Galtra’s prefabricated platforms, bridging customer requirements, technical design, and vendor execution. You will operate as a senior individual contributor with clear ownership of electrical configuration, integration assumptions, and execution readiness. This role does not serve as Engineer of Record. Final stamped designs remain with the EOR and owner appointed engineers. Electrical systems depth is essential. Working knowledge of mechanical systems, controls, and automation is a strong advantage. Candidates who can operate across disciplines, make informed technical tradeoffs, and translate between design intent, manufacturing realities, and operational constraints will be highly favored. This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
