A Day in the Life: In the position of Quality Supervisor, you will lead daily quality operations on the manufacturing floor, ensuring all products meet stringent food safety, regulatory, and company standards. Work closely with management to implement and maintain quality systems, provide leadership, and direction to the department Technicians, Batchers and direct reports. The Impact You'll Make: Supervise, train, mentor, and schedule Quality Assurance (QA) technicians and batchers. Deliver supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures and applicable law. Confirm adherence to required food safety laws, regulations, corporate policies and practices. Ensure the quality lab is clean and organized, conduct monthly inventory of lab supplies and inform management of any needs. Oversee testing, inspection, and sampling of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods. Perform daily water treatment testing activities. Monitor production for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)/Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls (HARPC), Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000, customer requirements, and company QC and QA requirements.
