A Day in the Life: The Systems Administrator II is a crucial member within the global infrastructure team. The applicant provides level 3 support for data center systems and operations. Implements, maintains and supports global on-premises and cloud-based system environments across multiple locations and countries, including foundational Microsoft Azure services and hybrid infrastructure. Responsible for configuring server hardware, software, storage and cloud services to meet our global business needs. Serves as a senior point of contact for systems support teams, network users and other business units for technical issues. The Impact You'll Make: Provide operational support for 600 Windows Servers (emphasis on Windows server 2016 and newer) including monitoring server performance and service availability within compliance to Service Level Agreements. Resolves Tier 3 incidents and requests escalated from other support tiers Manage and upgrade and VCenter 7 and later with 50+ ESXi hosts. Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and security services.
