We’re hiring a Embedded Hardware Engineer III at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. This position is fully remote. The Embedded engineer will design, develop, and deploy software that is built into the hardware of various IoT devices, such as GPS trackers and keypads. Primary Responsibilities Design, build and maintain software for embedded systems on vehicles and equipment Immerse yourself in the full engineering lifecycle of embedded applications Plan and create system architecture, and integrate embedded systems Read schematic and layout files to design and debug software Collaborate with leadership, engineering and product teams to build solutions Conduct testing and analyses Focus on the continuous improvement of technology and processes Assist in architecting software for modularity and reusability across hardware platforms Design and document API's, user guides and testing procedures We are looking for engineers with 4 + years of significant experience designing electronic hardware for the automotive and/or heavy equipment industry. You’re experienced with designing multilayer printed circuit boards using Altium Designer or similar EDA software.
