Job Description
Method is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in programming, software engineering principles, and application development, along with the ability to solve technical problems and collaborate effectively with a development team.
In this role, you will contribute to software projects from initial design through deployment and maintenance, helping build scalable applications that meet business and user requirements.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code. Develop application features, APIs, and backend services. Work with databases to support data storage, retrieval, and integration. Perform software testing, debugging, and code reviews. Investigate technical issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with developers, designers, QA engineers, and project stakeholders. Participate in technical planning and software architecture discussions. Maintain documentation and support application releases. Follow coding standards, security practices, and software development best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C, or JavaScript. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Familiarity with databases, SQL, REST APIs, and version control systems such as Git. Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and application maintenance. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with a technical team.
Preferred Skills
