Job Description
Btek Software is seeking a motivated Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support business needs and provide reliable user experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective software solutions.
In this role, you will contribute to application development, implement new features, troubleshoot software issues, and improve existing systems. You will work with team members to understand technical requirements, maintain code quality, and ensure that applications meet performance, functionality, and security standards.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain software applications based on project requirements. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code. Build new application features and enhance existing functionality. Troubleshoot software defects and resolve technical issues. Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services. Participate in code reviews and follow development standards. Create and maintain unit tests and other testing procedures. Collaborate with developers, designers, and project stakeholders. Document software functionality, technical changes, and development processes. Assist with application deployment, maintenance, and performance improvements.
Requirements
Experience in software development or a related technical role. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C, or JavaScript. Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles. Familiarity with databases, SQL, and API integration. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Ability to debug code and investigate application issues. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with a team and manage development priorities.
