Job Description
Ephibian is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that meet business and user needs. The ideal candidate will have strong programming fundamentals, practical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
In this role, you will develop application features, maintain existing code, integrate software components, and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle. You will contribute to code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement while following established development standards and security practices.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain software applications based on project requirements. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code. Implement new features and improve existing application functionality. Troubleshoot software defects and resolve performance issues. Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services. Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices. Create and maintain unit tests and integration tests. Collaborate with developers, designers, and project stakeholders. Document application functionality, technical changes, and development processes. Support software releases, updates, and ongoing maintenance. Identify opportunities to improve application reliability and code quality.
Requirements
Experience in software development or a related technical role. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C. Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles. Familiarity with databases, SQL, and API integration. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Ability to debug code and analyze technical problems. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with a development team.
