As Software Engineers, we work with both new and current technology, creating innovative solutions to overcome high-volume obstacles and to deliver player value. As part of the Riot Infrastructure Team, you’ll join a core group of engineers responsible for building and evolving the infrastructure that enables Riot’s games to operate globally at scale. As a Staff Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team, you’ll focus on reducing toil and inefficiency for Riot engineers through tooling and automation, particularly as we explore new opportunities enabled by AI. The solutions you build could range from Slack bots, AI agents, and MCP servers to systems that automate game deployments and other critical workflows. You’ll collaborate with teams across Infrastructure and throughout Riot to identify high-impact problem areas, shape technical solutions, and build tools and automation that make a meaningful difference in how engineers get their work done.
