The Assistant Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting Brady’s Security project manager(s). The major function of this role is to interact with and support the assigned Project Managers in the day-to-day tasks involved in development, pricing, planning and execution of projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Requires attention to details and the ability to work at a fast pace to meet deadlines. Helps to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverable. Prepares project close document at projects completion. Is responsible for creating project schedule as needed. Handles take-off of drawings Oversees the submittal review and approval process. Manages multiple tasks and follow up with both internal and external customers. Creates operation and maintenance manuals for Security PM’s. Assents PM’s in getting pricing for all material, equipment, and subcontractors. Works with PM to ensure all materials and equipment have been ordered and is scheduled to arrive prior to scheduling project start date. Pulls all permits prior to starting project and schedules all inspection after project completion. Assists with communication to vendors, subcontractors, field personnel, and customers. Schedules meetings for projects and project updates. Possesses working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications.
